The Taliban-Pakistan relationship is from sweet to bitter.

Five Pakistani soldiers have been killed on the border in an attack carried out from inside Afghanistan. The attack took place on the Afghan border in Pakistan's Kurram district on Saturday night.

Al Jazeera says Pakistan's good relations with the Taliban are becoming more and more strained due to these reasons and disagreements over demarcation and support for the Pakistani Taliban.

The Taliban-Pakistan relationship is from sweet to bitter.

This is the second attack on Pakistani troops from Afghanistan since the Taliban seized power in Kabul in August last year. A statement from ISPR, the Pakistani military's media arm, said, "Terrorists are using Afghan soil to carry out operations against Pakistan. Strongly condemns Pakistan.

Islamabad hopes that the interim government of Afghanistan will not allow its own anti-Pakistan activities to continue in the future.Pakistan's interior minister, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, has said that the Taliban "should stop such cross-border attacks as promised." The Afghan Taliban continue to support the Pakistani Taliban or TTP.

Islamabad-based researcher Raja Khan thinks that this will not only reduce the relationship but also reduce it. "The situation in Afghanistan under Taliban rule will become more complex and uncertain in the coming months,"

he told Al Jazeera. The hope for real peace and stability seems to be a mirage in the near future. '
