A teenager addicted to pubG has shot dead his mother and three siblings in Pakistan, local police say. After the police accused Jain Ali (14), he said confessed.

The teenager told police he played the popular online game pubG. Influenced by the game, he kills his mother and three siblings.
One week ago, police recovered the bodies of Nahid Mubarak (45) mother of the teenager, his brother Taimur Sultan (20) and sisters Mahnoor Fatima(15) and Jannat (10) in a room of their multi-storey house at LDA Chowk in Kahna area of Lahore.
Police said they searched all possible means but could not find anything. Police later arrested Ali on suspicion of family murder. When a trace of blood reached the house of the accused Ali, the police suspected him. Blood stains were also found on his clothes.
Ali confessed to the crime, a senior police official said. He was addicted to pubG and spent most of his time playing online games at home. Nahid used to scold the boy for not paying attention to his studies and spending most of his time playing pubG.
A police officer investigating the incident said the boy missed a goal after playing pubG for hours that day. Then he lost consciousness. Then he took his mothers pistol and went to his mother's room. Where the mother was sleeping with her other children.
He said Ali first shot his mother and then his two sisters. Ali also shot him when his older brother entered the room. Everyone died on the spot. Then he went upstairs to his room. After resting for a while, he left the house.
Ali then threw the pistol into a nearby drain, police said. Then back home pretending to be asleep. Police investigators suspect him of misleading behavior. He was detained after a few days of observation.
