On the first day of Ramadan, three Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces.

Among the dead were two Jenin and one Tulkaram. The Islamic Jihad also confirmed the news of the death and said in a condolence message sent from their armed wing, "We are mourning the death of three of our heroic fighters."

The Israeli military says a car bomb had exploded at an Iraqi police recruiting center at Kisak, west of Jenin. When the soldiers tried to arrest him, three people opened fire. They were killed when they fired back. Four Israeli soldiers were injured in the incident. One of them is in critical condition.

Meanwhile, analysts say the bloodshed on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan could provoke ongoing violence between Israel and the West Bank.

A 29-year-old Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli forces during a clash in the West Bank city of Hebron on Friday, the Palestinian health ministry said.

Palestinian Wafa News reports that Israeli forces told a young man threw a cocktail at soldiers during the riots for the reason they attacked.
